Registration Info
We welcome all children from ages 5 through to 17 for girls and boys. We want to make sure that kids are involved in team sport through their childhood years.
Kids learn so many things life lessons through involvement in team sport. Setting goals, achievement, develop new skills, form new friendships, commitment, dedication, fitness to name a few. Your child will have a blast.
Footy is a great game for kids. Come join us at the Sharks.

Fair Play Voucher Program
What is Fair Play?
Fair Play assists children and young people who can least afford or may otherwise benefit from joining a sport or recreation club. Eligible children and young people can apply for a voucher valued up to $150 (GST exclusive), which can be redeemed at a sport or recreation club registered with Get Started.
Who Can Apply?
The following applicants are eligible for a Get Started voucher:

children and young people from the age of five and under the age of 17 who hold or whose parent, guardian or carer holds a Centrelink Health Care Card or Pensioner Concession Card and are residents of Queensland

other children or young people identified by two referral agents.
How do I get a voucher?
Check if you are eligible for a Fair Play voucher here.
If a child is eligible for Fair Play, they are not guaranteed a voucher. The funding will be distributed in two rounds each year on a first come, first serve basis. Once the allocation for each round is exhausted, the program will close and no further vouchers will be offered for that round.

If you are registering a new player to our club, please ensure you have a copy of their birth certificate or passport in order to supply proof of age. This is required by AFLQ.

Transfers
If you're wanting your child to play at the Sharks and they have played previously for another club, please contact us and advise your child's name and date of birth and we can organise the transfer for you. Once this transfer process has been completed, we’ll be in touch and you can register your child to play with the Sharks. Thanks for choosing the Sharks and welcome to our community.
